Divine Providence is partnered with Father Joseph Mulligan, SJ, and his vital ministry to the sick and disabled in Nicaragua. It is extremely difficult for those living with disabilities to meet the basic costs of living and have access to quality healthcare. Disabled people rarely find work and receive very little assistance from the government.
Father Joe also helps the poor find access to health services, medicines, equipment and vital surgeries.
With a donation to Father Joe's ministry you can help the disabled live life with dignity and provide relief to the sick.
A landslide is threatening the Carmelites' home in Puerto Cabezas. Their home, pre-school and housing for teen girls is at risk for tumbling into the sea if they are not able to gather the needed funds to bolster the hillside to prevent further damage. The Sisters provide vital services to the community: housing, education, food and care. Your donations are greatly needed to help them with this very large project.
A donation to the Carmelites' Ministry will help repair their home
